While all beaches in Mexico are technically public, it would be very difficult to get to this beach without being a guest at one of the four resorts. Ask anyone in town what the best beaches are, and you will certainly hear the name "Mamitas. Just 20 minutes south of Playa del Carmen, near Puerto Aventuras, Xpu-Ha beach looks like it leaped right off a postcard and into reality. Vendors are often wandering the beach selling snacks and food because you won't find any beach clubs here. |

Plus you can walk five minutes in any direction and land at one of the best restaurants in town.
